Meghan L. Milburn, M.D.

Dr. Meghan Milburn, co-director of the Upper Chesapeake Breast Center, is a fellowship-trained breast surgeon as well as an assistant professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Milburn is a native of Baltimore County and received her bachelor's degree with distinction in molecular biology from Goucher College and her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center and a clinical research fellowship with the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery jointly at University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins Hospital. Most recently she completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at the Breast Center of the DeCesaris Cancer Institute at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

In 2011, she received the Shock Trauma Center Hero Award. Dr. Milburn is trained in the latest techniques to manage breast cancer and disease, including office-based ultrasound-guided biopsies, intra-operative use of ultrasound, and oncoplastic procedures. She is also able to provide her patients in Harford County with access to clinical research trials from Greenebaum Cancer Center due to her academic appointment with University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Dr. Milburn's primary office is Physicians Pavilion II, Suite 511 on the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center campus in Bel Air.
