Ramon A. DeJesus, M.D., FACS

Dr. Ramon DeJesus earned his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico before coming to Florida to complete an internship at University of Miami. He served his residency at York Hospital in Pennsylvania and was Fellowship-trained at The Buncke Clinic in San Francisco and Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Dr. DeJesus is board certified in reconstruction, hand and plastic surgery. He is one of fewer than 50 plastic surgeons in the U.S. who routinely performs the DIEP flap, a state-of-the-art breast reconstruction procedure that uses a patient’s own tissue and results in less pain and a faster recovery time.
