Sherif Osman, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Osman started the first Wound Clinic in Harford County in 2006. He is a Certified Wound Specialist,
a fellow of the American Wound Care Association, a member of the Association
for the Advancement of Wound Care and board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Osman is a graduate of the University of Cairo, Faculty of Medicine
1984. He completed his residency at Polyclinic Medical Center in
Harrisburg in 1988. |

Mark Gonze, M.D., FACS
Surgical Director
Dr. Gonze joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 1999. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University Medical School. Dr. Gonze completed his residency at Allegheny in Pittsburgh and a vascular fellowship at the Ochnser Medical Clinic in New Orleans. Dr. Gonze brings to the practice a special interest in endovascular surgery. He is the author of numerous published articles, and has given presentations at national meetings on endovascular aneurysm repair. He now serves as proctor for the AneruRx endovascular aneurysm repair system, having extensive endovascular experience at the Ochnser Clinic. Dr. Gonze has been treating wounds for over 20 years and is currently the Division Chief of Vascular Surgery and Chief of Surgery at Upper Chesapeake Health and Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical System. |

Alexander R. Aurora, M.D.
General and Bariatric Surgeon
Dr. Aurora is a general surgeon with expertise in bariatric surgery
and advanced laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Aurora completed his undergraduate
education in physiology at the University of Ottawa in Canada and
his medical degree from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland in
2000. Dr. Aurora completed his general surgery training at Johns
Hopkins Hospital and Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. In 2011, Dr. Aurora
completed a fellowship in advanced minimally invasive surgery at
Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland,
Ohio. |

Andre Biuckians, M.D.
Vascular Surgeon
Dr. Biuckians is a graduate of The George Washington University,
received a Masters of Public Health from Boston University and Doctorate
of Medicine from University of Massachusetts Medical School. His
surgical residency was completed at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical
Center and vascular fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Biuckians has co-authored several publications, including treatment
for Deep Vein Thrombosis and angioplasty for lower extremity
claudication. Dr. Biukians is Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical System. |

Andrew Landis, DPM
Podiatry
Dr. Landis earned his BS in Biology at SUNY
at Stony Brook & then went on for his medical training at Illinois
College of Podiatric Medicine (now Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine
at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago) where he authored a regular
column for the school paper and edited several books for the usage
of the students there. He graduated Cum Laude May of 1982. After
rotations at University of Chicago he went on to complete a surgical
residency in foot and ankle surgery which was followed by an additional
residency year in Advanced Foot and Ankle surgery at Central Community
Hospital in Chicago in July 1984. He has been affiliated with Upper
Chesapeake Health since that time and maintains a private practice
in Perry Hall, Maryland. |

Kristian A. Ulloa, M.D.
Vascular Surgeon
Dr. Ulloa joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 2011. After earning
his undergraduate degree from Emory University, he returned to his
home state of New Jersey where he did his medical school training at
UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. He then came to Maryland to complete
his general surgery residency and vascular fellowship at the University
of Maryland Medical Center/Shock Trauma Center. During his training,
Dr. Ulloa presented research at multiple national and regional meetings.
He has also authored chapters in vascular surgery texts on endovascular
treatment of venous disease, as well as the management of peripheral
aneurysms. |

David Kitchen, C.R.N.P.
Nurse Practitioner
David graduated with a Bachelor's of Science Degree from State University
of New York at Buffalo's School of Nursing in 1998 and has worked at
Greater Baltimore Medical Center's Surgical Intensive Care Unit since
then as a Registered Nurse. He graduated from University of Maryland's
School of Nursing in 2010 with a Master's of Science Degree. He has
been certified as Adult and Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
since August 2011. David joined Dr. Osman at Upper Chesapeake Health's Center for Wound & Ostomy Care at Harford Memorial Hospital in January of 2012. |

Jennifer Burton, PA-C
Ms. Burton has been a member of the Vascular Surgery Associates team since 2008. She received a Master of Science degree for Physician Assistant Studies from Shenandoah University. Her previous work experience includes almost 10 years as a Physician Assistant in private practice with surgical groups. Ms. Burton assists in the operating room, as well as provides patient care at the Upper Chesapeake Center for Wound Care. |
