Vascular Services

The Vascular Team at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UM UCH) is one of the largest vascular groups in the Baltimore region. These are the doctors who teach other doctors – updating colleagues at other hospitals on the latest innovations and techniques. They are the leaders in the Mid-Atlantic region in treating vascular disorders by using minimally invasive techniques, including repair of aortic aneurysms, and carotid angioplasty and stenting. When it comes to an unparalleled level of vascular care, look no farther than your own backyard... right here in Harford County... exactly where you need it.

The Vascular Laboratory in the UM UCH Heart and Vascular Institute is fully accredited and committed to quality testing for diagnosis of vascular disease. The Lab provides ultrasound studies of blood flow to help diagnose blockages in arteries and clots in veins that may lead to stroke and pulmonary embolism. Vascular lab tests include venous, arterial duplex and Doppler studies along with physiologic monitoring.
